The area now referred to as Harrington Park was originally household on the Muringong, southernmost from the Darug men and women. Shortly following the arrival of the very first Fleet in Sydney in 1788, 4 cows and two bulls strayed from the Govt Farm at Rosehill and found their approach to a wealthy expanse of lush land southwest of Sydney.
